Need Help Making My Car Loud!

NEED HELP MAKING MY CAR LOUDER!I have flowmaster exhaust right now and i got the mufflers taken off and had it repiped out the back of my car. would i make my car louder if i cut them off sooner then the back? and is that legal, will it pass smog if i kept the cats on, just shortened the exhaust to end midway through my car?

No help here. I run O/R H-pipe with flowmasters and it sounds just right

well you can do a couple of differnt things, the first(which i did to my old 85) is make a dump right after the headers right where the front of the doors would be. in 85 is wasnt true duel exhaust(which came out in 86) so i only needed one, it took just a couple minutes to take off and put the cap back on, two bolts. but was nearly impossible if the car had been running, those pipes got really hot. or the second, which i plan on doing is this to my V8 rx-7: http://www.dmhperformance.com

i dont want to hyjack your thread, but is there anyone that can endorse this product? i mean, do you know anyone with it? to me it seems pretty rockin with a 4 year warranty. but it might be another TUROBNATOR. but i dont think so. just my .02 cents
