Hi,
I am installing the attached master cylinder in my 65 mustang. My car has front discs (not original) and rear drums, so I believe this is the correct master cylinder. I noticed that this master cylinder has two outlets. So my first question is to confirm that the outlet on the front would go to the distribution block for the front brakes and the outlet on the bottom would go to the proportioning valve and from the proportioning valve to the rears. Also I noticed that this master cyclinder has brass inserts to accept the female double flare tube. So I just want to confirm that this is correct and the inverted tube can go right in. The reason for my confusion is because the master cylinder that was in the car was the drum/drum version and so I do not have a good reference for this. If anyone has a picture of the brake line routing with the disc/drum one I am putting in, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

It's been a while since I swapped mine over to a dual MC setup, but IIRC the MC had on of the holes plugged. Some earlier versions had the Brake light switch screwed into the second port. Mine had the switch at the pedal.

I have a book at home, I'll have to check it out.

Edit: I found a pic of my old MC and prop valve... If it helps.

The book I have shows two versions, I'm assuming the one version is for drum brakes and the other for disks.

The drum brake setup has the brake light switch in the top port.

The disk brake setup has the rear brake line in the top port going to the proportioning valve.

In both, the bottom port is going to the front brake line splitter/block.
