I bought my wife a little dog for her 30th birthday today. We decided to name it something to do with Ford or Mustangs. I kind of wanted to name it something ironic and she isn't against that so, that's open too.

The dog is a little Shietzoo (I know that's not spelled right), it's black and white, really small, and real fluffy. FYI, not my kind of dog, but it wasn't my birthday and I'm wanting a TB and Plenum for my B-day.

I already have one dog named Shelby, so that name's out. Let me hear what you guys can come up with and please keep it clean...unless it's really funny!

Thanks for the help!

Here is a little inside dog trainer info.
You always want to give a dog a name that has 2 syllabels (sp?)
(Shelby was a good choice)
The reason being that you do not want a dog to confuse single syllabel commands like:
NO,SIT,STAY etc.. with their name..
Here is another piece of advise that is a little off the wall.
Spit in the dogs food dish...
The reason for this is dogs are pack animals and in packs the alpha male always eats first. Your dog will pick up your scent in its food and this will help to establish you as the alpha male.. If you want a well behaved pet you must be the alpha male.

Well, I've seen more than a few "Tzit-shu"s; and they can be little wildcats; so the first couple-three I could think of would be:

Twister (as in the "Twister Special")
Cobra
HiPo

Maybe I blew my wad with "Moc Won"?

I was thinking Shinoda, and see that someone else was thinking the same way.
What about SparkPlug as these little dogs tend to have a lot of energy?

We Have A NAME!

Hey everyone I wanted to thank you all for all the great name suggestions!

We decided on a name.

By an overhelming victory.....

The New Dog Name is.......

(I feel like reality TV)

CLUTCH

Thanks everyone for all the help. Now I may own a wimpy dog, but he has a cool name!
I wonder if this was a first time the members of StangNet decided the name of a Dog? Too cool

Here's a picture of Clutch and my son Wyatt

Are you sure its too late to have impact on this decision? After viewing the dog and its inherent sporty look, I think you should name him/her Shelby Dodge Omni!!! Just kidding, and I hope you enjoy that little ****nit more than I could imagine!! One thing that is crystal clear, however, is that you're thinking straight despite the choice of dog in that you have good plans as to payback for your birthday present. Now that's the American Way!

P.S. Cute kid by the way. He'd certainly be even cuter if he wasn't covered in a pile of ShihTzu. Sorry, I simply couldn't resist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
