Did you change the balancer as well ?Hi all...looking for thoughts/advise on serpentine belt alignment after Vortech V3 install.
Belt is coming up a rib on A/C pulley and shredding. Thoughts on were to put washer shims?

No, l did not change the balancer....everything is stock except for smog delete pulley. Still have A/C and power steering.Did you change the balancer as well ?
You need to figure out what pulley is actually off. Before you can attack it .
Did you put the spacer on in the correct spot between the bracket and the smog delete pulley ? If not then that pulley will be off causing the issue .No, l did not change the balancer....everything is stock except for smog delete pulley. Still have A/C and power steering.
