Need help on what is this called and where can I buy one

There is no spacer between my engine and transmission.
I have a 66 mustnad with a 289 engine, and a 3 speed std. transmission.
With the spacer missing, the flywheel is exposed down at the bottom (inspection ?) area, and the started doesn't line up right with the fly-wheel.

What is this called (so I can search for it) or better, where can I buy one?

It's called the block plate. Go to Mustang's Unlimited's website, they have them.

I also have seen them called a dust sheild. I have used several that were used and a little beat up. They are real easy to straighten up with a hammer and a flat section of concrete. Take a look at ebay or car swap meets or the classified section here.
