Does anyone know which wire controls the ignition or sparks. I thought it was the red/lt. green wire in the steering column. But that wire seems to be killing the feul and I need the feul to be on. Correct me if I am wrong but the 1999 and up 4.6 have individual coil packs on each spark plug unlike the older models using one or two coils for all. Basically I am looking for the wire, that if I cut, will only kill the sparks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way does anyone have the factory wiring diagram or know where I can get it. I tried the Haynes manual but it wasn't detailed enough.

I would suggest the Chiltons repair manual but Im not sure if they have one for the 99+ vehicles. You should be able to follow the ignition coils to where they bundle up together in one bunch. I know because Ive seen it before. Where it extends all the way to, Im not sure.

Does anyone know if the Ford service manual is still available online ? If so, that would be of a great help to him.
