i replaced my clutch cable every thing is set i just cant seem to get to hook back up i need help on how to hook back up i have a 1990 mustang and the clutch set up is stock please help im in the miidle of the job
No there should NOT be any tension on the fork when it's hooked up and the pedal is all the way out. There should be no slack in the cable but no tension on it either. Tension on the cable/fork will kill your throwout bearing in short order... it's no different than riding around with your foot resting on the clutch.
