Need help real quick

Whats up guys, dad just got a new mustang 1990 mustang with a 5.0. He changed the spark plug wires and somewhere along the line lost the firing order.. Now on the distributor cap is it counter clockwise? Then from the distributor cap does it go 1/1, 2/2 or is it weird like 3/7?Any help is appreciated

Firing order: Counter-clockwise, 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8

5.0 HO order is the same as 5.8 not the regular 5.0

mustangs all came with the HO version of the 5.0 motors. like "OrLackThereof" said, firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
