Hi,
I was wanting to get a set of rims for my mustang, but im not familiar with what to look at and what the "numbers" for sizing and all the other stuff means....can anyone help?

These are the rims Im interested in, and was wondering if they would fit with out any troubles.

I was hoping to get a 18x8 for the front and 18x9 for the rear. but what does the PCD number and the ET number mean?

Thx

The first pair of numbers are the diameter and width. i.e. 18" tall (see note) and 9.5" wide.

The second pair of numbers are the number of lugs and the bolt circle. The bolt circle is the diameter of an imaginary circle (in millimeters) formed by the centers of the wheel lugs.

The number they call ET is the offset, it is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. i.e. if you measure from where the wheel touches the hub, horizontally to where it would intersect a vertical line drawn down through the center of the wheel. I don't know why it says ET on that page.

note: if this number exceeds 19', you may be a ricer.
