Ok i picked up a 1995 351w for a heck of a deal, and just went through and freshened up the motor. I did a stock rebuild with hyper pistons and a larger file fit ring gap, and a looser bearing tolerance for the boost application that will be fitted during the winter months. But for now just a carbed n/a motor. So here goes the thrilling question! I understand that a 351 is 28oz imbalance and a 5.0 ho is 50oz imbalance, going to a t5 I am buying a 157tooth 28oz imbalance flywheel. But I still have the original 351w balancer which is stock. Can I use the stock 351 balancer when using the new bought 157tooth 28oz flywheel? Every time I look at the 351w swap it never states can use stock balancer just says buy new or rummage one up from a pre 1981 302 which is 28 oz. I just need correcting info so I can continue or start shopping. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you can use any 28oz balancer for a SBF factory or aftermarket, they should all be made to the same spec balance wise..
