My friend gave me a 1987 5.0 5-spd LX HB as a wedding present (God Bless the man), and now I have quite a bit of a project on my hands. The car's in good shape mechanically, but he had pulled the interior out of the car to prep for paint.
Well, the car's primered now, but once I get it painted I'm going to want to put the interior back together nicely, so it looks brand new. My problem is that I have all the interior trim pieces, weatherstripping, door panels, etc... but they are all in boxes and otherwise scattered inside the car. Some of the pieces are obvious (center console, kick panels), and I've managed to identify a few other parts, but some of the pieces have just got me
trying to figure out what they are. I've looked all over the net for thorough pictures of the interior of HB 87-93s (especially of the hatch area behind the rear seats) but I haven't had much luck.
Does anyone know where I can begin on my quest for identifying all these parts? Pointers to pictures or interior parts identification guides would be most helpful. Thanks!
