Can anyone point me to some examples of a storyboard for show cars? I'm not sure if thats the proper name or not, but it's those books or boards you see at the car shows that tells the history on the car. I'm wanting to put one together for mine but have no idea if there is a design/protocol I should follow.

I have documented the restoration process of mine with picture and receipts I guess I need to know the proper way to present them.

I don't know about any protocol for the board thing, but ive been to a few shows that people jsut have a photo album laying next to teir board. I would just put all the picutes in a photo album then when you go to shows lay it next to your storyboard thing.

Your only limited to your imagination when it comes to this. I am going to put one together for my 72 #'s matching big block Camaro, I will simply state what the car is, its factory specs, ie., 396 - 4 speed, the mods ive done, rotissarie resto, how long, new specs, and who I want to thank for helping me, and maybe my Company name for sponsering it, then its a write off because its advertising.

I was going to have my late father in law do it, he was a sign painter.

show signs

There is no rules when it come to show signs. Most people just round up a few facts about their car i.e. engine size, modifications, transmission, options, car color etc, etc. I stold my sons chalk board (he wasn't using it) cut the legs down and painted with the car color. Then I took it to a graphics business with some ideas of what I wanted for verbage and they put the font on the board.

Hope this helps
