I am waiting patiently to order an '06 but I must be 100% set on color before I do and was going to wait to see it in person but I am getting very impatient. I narrowed it down to either Vista, or Tungsten and definately going with Graphite interior. Just want to know your opinion if you had to choose from both. Thanks.

hey, you're lucky to have the option of the tungsten

i have a satin silver, but i really wanted the darker grey like the tungsten

i think that it is one of the best colors for the new mustang... however, i really like the red interior, i think it makes the car

so if you are definately going with the light graphite interior... i would go with the vista blue.... i think it's a much better color than the sonic from last year and it fits better with the interior you chose, the contrast is what does it

so my opinion is the tungsten is the better color, but the vista goes better with your interior choice

btw.... the vista would be my second choice of colors for the car

good choices

I'd go with Torch Red, Red Leather, IUP's - I already did that. If I were you (or I was buying an 06) I would go with the the Vista Blue with your choice of interior. Good luck! Either way, you'll have one bad a s s looking ride!

Alright scratch the interior color, I just want opinions on the 2 colors. Thanks.
Also went to my local dealer and he said I was crazy for even saying X-plan. So I told him about my friends(everyone here) who got one under X and he didn't believe me.

... and I think Tungsten will be the most popular color choice - therefore lots of them. I would go for Vista Blue.

If you're the kind that likes to stand out and be noticed, get the blue. It's got more 'gotcha' than the tungsten. But I really like the tungsten with the silver stripe. It's very classy and understated. Get the light graphite interior with either one.

The silver looks good, with the stripes. I ordered Windveil blue for mine. As far as ordering X plan, call every dealer in the area you are looking to travel. I called just about all the dealers in AZ and found one to accept A plan. The same dealer may accept a plan at one point, and then not at a different time.

I went with the vista blue. I think both look great but I am just partial to the blue myself. The tungsten will deff be a little easier to keep clean as well but ive only had black cars the last couple of time so what do i know about clean?

Definitely tungsten; besides looking great it stays clean looking better than any other color. It also looks great w/ white stripes if you like that look.

Hold out for x-plan. If you're in NY area you have enough dealerships that someone in the area will be willing. Send out e-mails on it, and send follow-ups to the decliners. The dealership in Atl that I got mine from told me after I ordered that they couldn't do it, but they changed their mind a month later-total wait 3 months.

I went with Vista and dark charcoal interior.

I always liked blue and there aren't a whole lot of them out there. I didnt go with the silver becuase too many have them and I didn't go for red (all though i would love torch red) because my 2001 mustang was red.

But all the colors are good, plus i painted my room "vista" blue-ish color so I can take a huge picture of my car and hang it on the wall

Since yellow wasn't one of your options, I'd go with the Tungsten if it were my choice to make...

Well we had our first tungsten come in the other day and I am very glad I did not wait and order an 06' in this color. In a certain angle of the sun, it has an small hint of Iris/Purple in it (I think this is a result from the metalic).

I thought it was just me but everyone said the same after they saw it.

At delivery time for this special order, the flourescent lights really magnified it as well.

I thought it was going to be a dark flat grey but it is not.

I agree. Tungsten looks way to purple-ish. I went with torch red because it looks sporty and stands out. I love the pictures of the GT500 too. I just cant find any replica parts for mine though!

Picuture above of the tungsten cars is very misleading!! I really wish the color was that deep gunmetal.
