I am in the process of putting road race slicks on some 16 inch stock mustang 98-04 wheels. Are the wheels 7.5 inches or 8 inches in width? I am looking at some 255/50/16 tires. I know they may rub in the front, but will these fit without bulging and making the slicks worthless. What would you guys suggest for a good race slick size so I can grip the track at the best level?
