I'm replacing my 67 coupe igntion switch and I need to get a 12v source for my pertronix II billet dizzy from the ignition.
My 67 does not have red/green wire from the switch to the pink resistor ballast wire, instead the pink wire connects directly into the back of the ignition switch pigtail and I do not have a tach.
When replacing my switch where should I splice in a 14g wire to run directly to the + side of the the flame thrower coil? Should I splice a few inches into the pink wire and get the full constant 12v or should I eliminate it at the pig tail and if so how?
Thanks
