need help with lowering springs and wheels

lets assume i get 18" wheels rougly 265 to maybe 315s, what is the lowest i can go without having to worry about the tires slamming into the wheel well every bump?

My rear 18x10's with 295's & H&R supersports didnt slam into the wheel well @ all over bumps, but turning into driveways or gas stations the rear left wheelwell would dig into the tire. I got a panhard bar & it solved the issue. Maybe other people had better luck with theres? ...Probably wouldnt have the problem with a pro kit (1.5), but your car wont look very low either....

I'm runnin 18s with 285s and I don't have any problems with the Eibach pro kit, which is about a 1.5" drop

im running 315's with prokit springs and have no problems at all

Running 18x9.5's with 285's all the way around, and have 1.5" drop with no issues at all.

Damn those are some big front tires.


Most people I've seen run 265 fronts and 295 rears. You shouldn't have a problem with a 1.5" drop, but you can always roll the fenders to be safe.

Yeah, but it looks good and I can still rotate. The front's don't stick out beyond the fender, never had them rub, been like that for about 65k miles. Thinking about some spacers to bring the rear out a bit.
