alright guys, ive got the c4 in and the last thing i have to do is route the shifter cable. how in the world do you make a 5 ft cable fit under there. the shifter is mounted in the stock location and i cant figure it out. also, where in the world does the bracket that hold the cable mount too on the tranny? thanks

alright, i got it all hooked up and running. took it up to work and it shifted good. kind of wierd going into 3rd. so i let it sit for a little bit and checked the fluid . when i drove it back home it wouldnt shift into 3rd and if i got on it and shifted to third it would shift but just rev up and than go back into second. im hoping to god this is just an adjustment issue and not 3rd gear is gone in this tranny. if anyone has anything to offer up it would be greatly appreciated

no good ideas, but how did you end up routing it? I am doing the same thing right now. I have another thread going but I got no answers. Thanks!

i brought it out the front of the shifter down the side of the tranny and than back around behind the tranny mount and than up the driver side to the linkage. im thinking my problem is a stuck valve in the valve body. i talked to a tranny guy today and he said thats what it was more than likely. he just told me to pull the pan and see if anything looks out of the ordinary or if anything is loose.
