The Snake has been hesitating when on the throttle and hard to get up to speed. Replaced cap, rotor, plugs, and fuel filter. Thought I fixed the problem but took the car out today and it seems the problems are back. I forgot the code numbers because I ran the test again and they didn't pop up again. I'm using the Actron Superscanner. And it's the same codes I got for it a few months ago when I ran the test. The codes are, Fuel pump circuit open PCM to Battery. And 02 sensor rich, Bank 2. Please someone help me out!!

Does your scanner allow you to view PIDs?

I'd want to figure out the deal with the O2 sensor since a bad O2 circuit can make a car run like crap. Either check the output signal or swap your O2's around (if doing the latter, see if the code follows the O2).

I'd check your spark plug wires for leakage and do a KOEO test of your TPS. Make sure it has a nice linear sweep with no breaks in the signal output.

Yeah I can view PID's with it. Tell me exactly what to look for with it. I put the Ford Racing plug wires on it a few years ago, as soon as I get some money i'm going to get another set. I know on top of my wires near the boot that goes into the distributor it's very discolored.

Here's a pic of the wires

I would get it to miss and scan through your engine parameter readings as it's missing. Or if it only does it in bursts or while actually accelerating, drive it on a closed, safe course ;) till it acts up. Then have an assistant do a data capture as it misses. Then go through the data and see if any readings look out of sorts.

The way the scanners do O2 readings, it might not show you if your right O2 is causing an issue, nor will it show you if plug wires are leaking, but it will help you to rule some things out (or might show you something that is acting up, like a bad TPS, etc).
