I just put the Autometer Pro-comp gauges in my car and I need to see if someone can steer me in the right direction for getting the right speedometer gear. I have a T5, 3.55 rear end gears, 24.5 tall tires, and the Autometer 160 mph speedometer that Autometer says needs to have an input spinning 1000rpms at 60 mph to be correct.
So basically, I need a gear that will turn my speedometer cable 1000 rpm's when I'm actually going 60 mph, with my T5 and 3.55's with 24.5 tires.
Anyone have any formulas or anything?
I have a couple of gears laying around, I may try switching them around and seeing if one is close. I have a pink (19 tooth I think) gear, and a black (I think 21 tooth) gear, and a green one out of an AOD.
