ok i have a 2004 mustang gt and i want to get a supercharger im looking to spend around 3700 bucks on a kit. any suggestions on where i could find a kit for this price that comes with injectors fuel pump and programer

The Vortech "Mongoose" kit will probably best fit your budget, and it's a complete kit. I believe it uses the S, or SQ trim blower.

I would save a little more cash and buy a torq tech kit.

That is without a intercooler. You will get about 360 rwhp at the wheels with the kit. It's kind of a bummer without the intercooler when it gets hot out. I put a paxton intercooler on later and with a slightly smaller pulley I have 400rwhp. Go to modularpowerhouse.com. You can't go wrong with the vortech kit.

What kind of power levels are you looking to see and where are you wanting to see it? If you want stock like bottom end and a nice rush in the mid and upper ranges, then the "Mongoose" kit described above is probably your best bet.

If you like the meat of your power to be made down in the lower and mid ranges of the power band, with a steady, hard pull from idle to red line, you might want to save a little more money and look into a Positive Displacement set up like the Tork Tech kit mentioned above.

There are literally a dozen different options for the Mod Motor SN95 cars, so think long and hard before plopping down the cash and not just what fits in your particular budget for the time being.

Any of you guys ever pay to have someone else install it? I hate working on cars and was wondering what someone(speed shop) normally charges for installing such a kit.

normal install is around $600 but you can do it yourself easily

I guarantee the Modular Powerhouse tune will be much closer to what you want. Besides the mongoose kit comes with the proper SVT focus fuel pump, 42lb/hr injectors, MAF, etc. It is a better complete kit than the one vortech normally sells.

But I may be biased since I have one, my A/F was spot on with the included tune. Not to mention the knowledge base at MPH is lightyears ahead of what you will find at a mail order parts store like American Muscle.
