Ok, me and my dad have been working on this car for a while and have narrowed the problems down. We are taking care of the ignition now i need to figure out the vac lines. The guy put on explorer upper intake and GT40 lower. Stock heads. He also has a 70 or 75 mm TB on it with the EGR spacer i believe it is. Now on this spacer there are 2 nipples that are capped, and 1 nipple that is capped on the TB itself. On the Upper intake there are 4 nipples that are capped. I know 1 of them is the charcoal canister that he got rid of. He also deleted the AC and Heater for some reason also. Those are the only ones that i am sure are capped and im sure they are needed, but needless to say i dont think he knew to much. Seems like he just threw it together. If you guys can help me out quick, id appreciate it. I aslo did several searches, came up with some diagrams, but if i dont need the lines then i would rather just hear from you guys then worrying about them. Thanks

The vacuum lines you need are 1 small line for fuel pressure regulator, 1 small line for A/C,1 small line for EGR and another small line for the smog pump. One big line at the back goes to the vacuum tree for the power brake & A/C, one big line goes to the PVC valve. The other big line goes out the front for the carbon canister. In a pinch, one of the small lines can connect to the spare port on the vacuum tree. Cap or plug the remaining lines since they aren't needed.

I’ll try to jog the memory a bit with a little bit of a description: If your looking at the front of the engine and you look on the upper intake on the front left of it, that line goes to the charcoal canister. The vacuum line just to the right of it (thicker) goes around to a two way valve on the bottom right side of your upper intake and continues on into the back bottom of the lower intake where your pcv valve is located at. On the back of your upper intake you have a little intake tree that comes out of the back of the upper intake. It has three possible hose connections. The thicker one goes to the firewall vaccum tree where it is labeled as “S” (it will be a little up and to the right of the upper intake on the firewall along with other abbreviations like “B/R” and “A/C”…but connect it to the “S”. The other two possible vacuum lines are easy. One is red (mine was) and goes to your fuel pressure regulator and the other one goes to your EGR I believe. Hope that helps on the connections.

The FP and EGR connections on the back of the upper intake can go on either one of the two smaller sets of the piping that comes out of the upper intake (one of the "pipes" has 3 possible connections.) The FP and EGR go on the two smaller ones...I hope that made sense:shrug:
