I was driving down the road today and I ran over something, (don't know what), but it blew out my tire and whatever I ran over went right threw my rim! :-/ I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of finish is on the 5 star wheels that's on the delux Mustangs. I need to buy a new wheel and tire. Where can I get one that looks EXACTLY like it?

call up your local Ford dealership and see how much they want. you could try Downs Ford in New Jersey, they have a website and pretty fast shipping. I bought my Saleen S-351 spoiler from them when I had my 97GT. good customer service there.

Yeah, that was me lol.....Was the car by itself there or did you see me by it? I had my brother pick me up and bring me home to call AAA.

What's their web site? I'm guessing a dealership would charge a lot for a factory wheel and tire.

I found the original tires on www.tirerack.com for $145. Does anyone know where it might be cheaper?

You and your brother were just pulling away as I approached the intersection. I was headed W on Curlew and turned S on McMullen, headed toward Mease Countryside. Did you try calling Tire Kingdom or any other the other local tire dealers?
www.buyfordmotorsport.com has the rim for $85.00 - part # M-1007-G278 , but shipping might kill ya, so you might want to ck with Freedom Ford as well.
Best of Luck!!!

Thanks! Ford wants over $200 for the wheel. Dealerships overcharge a lot. They wanted $180 just for the tire. :-/ I got the tire from www.tirerack.com. It was $161 shipped. Still pricey, but I couldn't find the exact tire anywhere else online. Thanks again!
