Need Help

I have been pulled over several times for my reverse lights staying on when i am in gear. I have a manual transmission and i think the switch is messed up with the reverse light. If anyone is having the same problem and knows how to fix it without going to the dealership please let me know.

i have seen my automatic doing the same thing so it is a widespread problem

It's new, it's under warranty why not have the dealer fix it?
