Hi I am looking for info on puting my svo turbo on a 1990 4 cyl.I do not have the computer but i can buy one if needed and is the motor internaly strong enough.I have a 538 rwhp v8 stang and now for the winter i would like to bomb around in the 4cyl.my truck is a 140 dollars a week in gas and i cant bring my self to driving a honda gas saver and info will be much app.... thanks

You really can't just throw the turbo onto your N/A engine. You want a turbo engine, or at least rebuild your stock engine with forged pistons. Stock cast pistons won't hold much more than 7-8 psi of boost, Turbo engine runs 15 psi as factory.

does any of the 4cyl motors from any other years come forged or do i need to look for an svo motor.if not who sells a decent rotating assembly.

Not to be an ass, but this has been covered 1 million times. Use the search function, then ask questions.

There were other platforms that used the turbo 2.3 motor. Don't forget you need the fueling system and other components from the turbo motor too.

Stinger-Performance.com has some great swap info.
