need help

I have an 89 5.0 lx with most of the normal mods. My question is is when I get on the gas hard the check engine light comes on then goes out a few seconds later this has just started happening the last few times I have driven the car. I keep the car in good state of tune and use good fuel in it the car has a 5 speed in case that matters. the idle is steady and I have checked most of the wire harnesses thanks in advance

What are the condition/age of the O2 sensors? One might be going out.

You may not be able to get anything, but try and pull codes and see if you get anything.
