Hi I found a car that is very mechanicall sound but body is shot, dented rusted, and all the good stuf. I also found another 4 cyl in really nice shape for a decent price. I have read into doing the swap and am sure I can handle the task but.

When switching the gt parts over like say the rear and the front spindles then what do you do with the old car, I mean I dont want to put the 4 cyl parts back onto the GT like rear, springs, spindles you know. But then if I dont how would I go about getting rid of the shell, any ideas or experience with this.

call a tow company, ask them. just make sure to say its just a shell, and cant roll. when my neighbor totalled his lx he stripped the suspension in the street. the rear, all control arms, spindles, springs shocks EVERYTHING. the car sat on its subframe connectors.it cost him 35 (40, he gave him a 5 dollar tip) to have it towed away like that. but it was in the street.

I just bolt the rear on (I think I only put on the lca. no springs) I put the front spindles on without springs as well. all they did was put the car on dollies anyways so it didn't even run on the tires. I think flat bed trucks would be your best bet. I mean they tow cars that have been totalled so why not just a shell
