need machine shop on LI

I am looking for a compitent machine shop that someone can reccommend that is on long island. Something in the nassau or suffolk area would be great. I am looking to have machine/balance work done and do the assembly myself, or even a shortblock made if the price is right. I am not looking for any thing fancy like 8000rpm 800hp capability, just your average 306 stock crank/rod/block/forged piston short block. Any questions let me know, and thanks for any help.

call the machine shop up at SK speed in Lindenhurst, NY on Rt 109 theres a guy Kevin who owns/runs that part of it Hes pretty good. good Luck The guy I used is out of statre but I know a few guys who have used him. He is seperate from SK speed so dont think its just a Joe schmo operation.
