I have pretty much expended my entire budget working on the interior of my car this year, and did not leave much money for the exhaust. I currently have an A code 289 with tri-Y headers and the exhaust that came with my car. It appears to be quite new but only a 1 7/8" diameter. I don't want to go through the process of replacing the entire exhaust system, and was wondering if I could swap out the mufflers for something more aggressive sounding. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
