The tune is equivalent to loading a movie into your xbox. Intake just bolts on, might have to go to a autozone to use there tools if you dont have a good set.
Buy the CAI from Brenspeed or other reputable, you will receive a DVD where a certain magazine installed a CAI, headers, shifter, exhaust and a supercharger. It is not an instructional video but it will give you the idea.
There are sites with pictorals (I did not keep the link) and I believe there is something in this site too.
If you have a socket set and screwdriver, you have it made. You will get a computer programmer loaded with tunes. Flashing the computer is simple, plug it into the car, press a couple buttons and that is it.
Installing the CAI is just about as easy. Get a custom tune, the canned tunes are pretty mild compared to Brenspeed and others.
Installing an intake and applying a tune to your car (when you get a kit from Brenspeed or similar outfit) DONT GO WITH RPM OUTLET!!! is just about the easiest modification you could do to your car.
of all the things I did last year, it was just about the easiest. I'd rank installing speakers and my Satellite radio as more difficult and I'm an IT and home theatre guy.
