Need MORE POWER

Guys,

I need your help choosing between 331 or 347! I have been doing the research I have $2500 to blow on a short block. I have a 94 GT 5speed 197,500 on the clock, cobra intake, AFR185 heads (pistons were notched), E303, magnaflow exhaust. I would like to later down the road supercharge it. What should I do? Buy a complete balanced short block from DSS, CHP, or Fordstrokers? Should I buy a stroker kit have a shop put it together to save a few bucks? I live in So.Cal emissions here are crazy are these engines going to stop me from passing? Any input would be helpful...

If you wanted to supercharge it. I would say go with a nice 306.
