I posted a little over a week ago that my car was hesitating on boost. Found out today that was because the #5 piston has a big hole in it . Time for a new motor.

If I'm gonna spend the money, it's gonna be forged. Haven't decided yet on a short block or long block, it's a crap shoot whether one of my heads got damaged. I've looked into DSS and MMR. Anyone have any opinion on these. Plans are to get something forged, bump the blower up to 14lbs, and be in the 430 to 450RWHP range. I'm trying to not have to also replace the tranny, rear end, and anything else that would be needed to support more power. I was content at 370RWHP and will be more than content at 450ish until I find $50K to buy a GT500. So what's the best setup to go with?

Also, my current fuel setup is a KB Boost a pump with 36lb injectors. Anyone know what power level that is good to?

36lb limit is 390 last I heard from Tim at MPH. Also 450rwhp on a set up like that means the T-45 will be your time bomb. My T-45 at 380rwhp street tired only is starting to whine and on it's way out as it is....

I figured I'd need a fuel system. I actually have the T3650. Not sure if that holds up better.
