High just ordered a set of UPR Cast Camber plates and have a set of BBK specific Rate Springs in the garage ready to install. Id like to get some new shocks/struts while im at it. And I really need to stay under $200 for all 4. What do you all recommend!?

THanks

With a price constaint like that, KYB's might be about it.

Or something used or some take-offs of some sort.

Good luck.

I dont know personally. A lot of fox guys say they are great for the cost. I was going to get some for the '94 but ended up doing Tokicos instead.

I wont comment further since I dont know how the KYB's are with those springs (the beef with them supposedly on Eibach equipped SN's is that they are harsh. But Eibachs are harsh in and of themselves and people compare the KYB's to 400-600 dollar dampers, which is simply not fair).

FWIW, I am not real picky, and I would try the KYB's with little qualms. That helps you not at all, but......

Good luck.

Do not use the KYBs. Eibachs are not harsh. I have them on my vert. It's the spring/damper combination that gives ride quality.

I have Tokico Performance with my Eibachs. My wife loves the ride and they handle well. I am assuming that you are wanting to know ride characteristics for a car that sees mostly street, not track or road course.

Check prices at Shox.com and spend an extra penny or two for quality dampers. The difference in the ride is night and day.

I went with stock repot's for $300.00... keeps the ride soft and still lets me chew up corners (until the vert starts to flex and my car begins to plow)

Bilsteins for the person not on a budget. I would check out ebay and get the tokico. They're a good shock/strut and for the money they want on ebay, you can't beat it.
