Well here's the deal. one of my buddies just bought a 91 notch with a brand new crate motor in it and is selling is '95 GT. Here are the mods....

70mm BBK TB
BBK CAI
Edelbrock performer intake manifold
Headers(not sure the brand) into Flowmaster dumps
Steeda Short throw shifter
5" Automter monster tach
Autometer water temp gauge
MSD ingnition

Thats about it....It has 92k, all power and brand new Bullitt Wheels

Color is dark green with a black/tan interior

BTW, it has a mean cam in it....the guy before him put it in though so not sure too much about it, i will tell you it idles pretty damn rough though because of it.

Selling price $6500......what do you guys think?

Hmm i dont know. The only real performance item is the intake and maybe the CAI. I dont know if there is a off road mid pipe or not.

I bought my 95 GT from a dealership 1.5 years ago for $6,500 out the door with 68,000 miles. It was bone stock minus a flowmaster cat back.

I say talk him down to 5800-6000. Either way, i got 96k on my car now and its still running strong. With good maintence these 5.0's run forever.

Yeah, I can understand him wanting more for it because of all the money he just threw into it like the $1200 for wheels and tires, which i don't mind because i would have spent the money on the stuff anyways. The only thing is when i'm ready to sell it i'm not going to get any of the money back myself. So I'm kinda stuck in the middle.

And the other thing is, he's my buddy and I know he doesnt beat the hell out of it and wouldn't sell me a car that there was something wrong with

I would say try to talk him down to about 6, and see what he says. Sounds like a pretty good car, and looks like you might have a piece of history. GOOD LUCK.

So you already have one and are going to buy another? I've been trying to find a deal on one for my g/f... if I can find her a 5 speed, I'll swap them out cause she wants an Auto. I say go for it, but try to get him down to $6k. I pay $7400 for mine but that was like 5 years ago.

Actually I haven't been on Stangnet for a while so I let my buddy use my sn, so that's his car. I'm hoping I can get him down to 6, but we'll see. BTW, what would be the best aftermarket electric fan w/switch and t-stat for the price? Thanks guys, I'll let you know what happens tommorrow.
