So I am almost done purchasing all the bolt on part I want, and next is the chip/tune. I have heard that autos some times are funny with gears swaps without a retune. Anyone have any experiences?

With just have a few simple boltons (4.10, K&N Cai, Accufab tb, plenum, xpipe, catback) will an American muscle.com tune on sct 4 bank eliminator be fine?? I dont see the need for a tuner really . I most defiantly plan on getting a dyno tune at alternative auto,(maybe livernois) but it take awhile before this happens.

any inputs will be greatly appreciated

You should get a custom tune, not an off the shelf tune... And yea your going to want to see what the tuner closest to you uses. I have an SCT tuner 5 min away from my house and he tuned my car on the street. NOW he is getting a DYNO Dyno jet I believe It will be ready to go in February. This is In Delaware.

Well like I said, I defiantly plan on getting a custom dyno tune by a great tuner in my area. However how safe will I be using a generic tune (.ex Americanmuscle.com) for about a month. Why would I want a handheld tuner wont their generic tune be the same as and sct eliminator? Plus a custom dyno tune will go on either.

Also will my autos shift points disagree with the gear swap, and cant a off the self tune fix this unit I get the dyno tune??

thanks

Id go with dirtydirtyracing.com before AM , Willie is alot better and more experienced tuner than the guys at AM ......
