Ok, the wife and I are trying to decide on a color for the stang. Right now my sister in law can get me discounts on good paint so I need to get it while the getting is good. The car in question is a 70 fastback basicly a Mach 1 clone. The car was originally mint green metallic and that color is out of the question. The colors we are looking at are.

Bright silver metallic
mineral grey metallic
sonic blue metallic
screaming yellow
candy apple red
calypso corral

Thanks guys.

calypso coral is the perfect color for a 70 fastback especially with the flat black stripe running down the hood, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I vote "sonic blue metallic" cause I love the color (and I have no idea what "calypso corral" looks like). Are you going to do this right - Door Jambs and all?

At this point I have little choice but to do it the right way. What started as a paint job has ended up turning into a full restoration after I found out how the Moron who previously owned the car did things. She sits completely in bare steel ion the garage now. It had been painted red poorly painted at that. Good old Makko hack job. When I pulled the interior I found the original mint green unfaded. Horrible color.

It's not up there, but Chrome Yellow with black racing stripes.

Or the Bright silver.
