Need opinions on trading my 65 Fastback for 03/04 Cobra

Like the title says, I am considering trading the 65 for an 03/04 Cobra. I would prefer a convertable with minor to no mods.

What are your opinions? Is it an even trade as far as $$$ value is concerned? I have a 9 month old and I am looking at 9 more years before he can even ride in the fastback. I would rather have something the whole family can enjoy.

Really tough decision... Personally I'd be torn between the two. Each has its merits, advantages, and disadvantages. What do you think your '65 is worth in its current condition? I know that low mileage unmolested 03/04 'Verts are going for 25K or more these days.

A very tough decision... However, a newer car is nice because generally nothing is worn out.

Isn't there some way you can have both?

The thing the classic has going for it is that it is an appreciating assett. The Cobra (no matter how cool it is) is a money loser for the next 30 years until it is a classic.

I do have a guy with a 37,000 mile Mystic vert interested. It is either that or a Competition Orange Vert for me to trade. If not one of those, it would have to be pretty special.

I think I am actually keeping the 65.

As for the Hybrid: I just got my 1st 60MPG tank out of it. It is here to stay

um you cant sell or trade that car it's the first car i have ever worked on... if anything ill become a hitman and make some quick cash and buy it from you!!!
