:SNSign: Hey all,

Im currently stuck in a dilemma. I am trying to decide on what year mustang to buy. I have always been in love with the foxbody 5.0L 88-93 stangs, and would love to make a purchase, but i CANT STAND THEIR INTERIORS! I love 1998-2004 gt's as well, but prefer the foxbody exterior styling. The problem is this....i am looking to spend no more than 13,000$ Canadian, and i dont know what year mustang to invest in. PLEASE HELP, tell me what your opinion is!!!

you can go oldskool.. and with the money you have left over (being that I don't think a Decent mustang won't cost too much you can update/upgrade the interior.. I don't think the foxbody interiors are THAT bad!

1986 mUSTANG gt

I love this year. In my opinion, the front ends on these are prettier and the headlights don't yellow like Aero nose ('87 - '93).

Looking for more info...

I totally agree with what your saying. Do what I did, buy the fox for the exterior and all the awesome parts you can throw in the engine, suspension and brakes. Customize the interior to make it your own. I ordered a brand new triple tone leather package for the seats, the are gorgeous. Customized the map pockets with new vinyl and embroidered pony logo. Two tone leather wrapped on the steering wheel. Not to mention the stereo is super easy to upgrade and it looks killer. Foxes are eye catchers. Unless your getting a cobra/saleen/etc on newer models, they are a dime a dozen.

Foxes ('79 - '93) are easier and cheaper to mod also.
