need patch panel that NPD doesnt list

Upon removal of the floor of the '66, I found that part of the panel that is right behind the floor pan that goes into the trunk needs to be replaced. NPD doesnt list it in their catalog, does anyone else make one, or am I SOL and have to fab something up myself?

I found MU's panels to be much thinner than NPD's, thus making them tougher to weld in. I'd be surprised if NPD didn't have this panel and maybe you just aren't describing it to their salesperson (or they are halucinating?).

Are you talking about the whole panel from the front of the gas tank all the way up to the rear floor pans? If it's just the patch piece in front of the gas tank I know you can buy those. I bought one at the Columbus swap meet year before last. I'm not sure who the vendor was. It was fairly heavy steel but it was flat. It did not have the bow in it going upward. I had to do that myself. It took awhile to get it right.

I just looked in the catalog, and couldnt find anything...I think the link to the MU site is the one I need, I'll get a picture of my rusted out piece and show you guys, the pic on MU is tiny!

I'm not sure, it doesnt seem to have the driveshaft hump....

looks like the floor pan where the rear seat is/was and maybe part of the link from dark night. Not sure if the floor pans include the drive shaft hump, might have to go with complete floor pan. I would look for rear seat pans and see where those go up to. might need part of what dark knight linked to.

Sounds crazy for $600 but like he said, buy the whole panel and cut what you need. I can only imagine if that rear seat area needs to be replaced, other floor sections need to be replaced as well. That way you can use more of the full size panel somewhere else.

I already have the full floor pan, the piece I need is behind the floor pan, to the rear of the vehicle, mostly the bottom of it is rotted. See in the pic where the line is, above the black line, thats the piece I'm talking about, and thats where it's rotted, its where the floor and the piece I need overlap.

Hello all,
The pictured panel from MU is what you need. Its hard to figure 'cause its pictured from the underside where the shocks mount. I need this piece too.
