I was holding off on getting a new maf, and injectors due to that i would be getting a s/c in the future and prolly need like 42's however i was thinking, since i have not too much money, and a s/c is far off, what do you think about if i got a new maf and injectors, 24lbers. Then, i used a FMU that comes with say the vortech kit? My only concern is that since the fmu is calibrated for a stock engine, do you think i would get too much/too less fuel? i WILL get it tuned, but i want to make sure it will be in the range to be tunable.? what do you think? i would like to get a new tb, maf now and keep it that way for a while.

If you do get a MAF, pro-m cost about 100 to recalibrated the C&L is about 30. I would hold off on the TB. I got the FMS one and it did nothing for me. I was lucking and picked it up for $100. The 19# will be fine for now. I think they are rated up too 300hp or more. Sit down and make a plan of everything. It sucks to have to buy things twice.

If you are planning on getting a supercharger later and are just buying everything piece by piece, there is no reason to buy the 24 pound injectors. Buy the 42 pounders with a maf and just do not put them on until you have a reason to do so. An FMU is a Bandaid for the wrong size injectors, do not waste your time.

:stupid:

I know you appreciated that one. I agree, don't even bother with the FMU. Most of your fuel upgrades that are needed in order to run a blower are able to be put on a stock car. The larger injectors and MAF can be purchased and not immediately installed.

Everyone better be excited that I used a stupid-ass smiley icon. I think they are the greatest thing ever!! I'm going to get tattoos of all the smileys all over my back.
