need some help *pic*

im having a lil problem installing my new cai. this sensor gets about halfway in and then it wont budge. i dont wanna force cuz im of afraid of breakin it. should i send it back and have them rethread it?!

How do the treads look inside and on the sensor. If they look good then I would put a wrench to it start turning about 3 to 4 turns then pull it back out and look at the treads again. If they're ok keep wrenching get further down then pull it back out repeat this till you get all the way down.

the threads are fine. it goes in real nice at 1st then stops mid way. 4 more threads im just scared to break it, with it being plastic.

it might be pipe threads where it will get tighter as it gets farther down

how does the sensor look inside the pipe? mine wouldnt thread all the way down but inside it was already in far enough for the sensor to do its job. if its not in far enough u can grab it with a set of plyers or open end wrench and carefully tighten it down

yep, i second urban96: it should look flush on the inside tubing... it's gonna look like it sticks out a lot further cuz on the old fitting it was a thick rubber piece
