I have a 95 5.0 5sp with pullies, K&N filter, flows, o/r H, 373's.

What should I purchase next? Whats the best bang for my money? I don't know if i'm ready for h/c/i yet, but if you think i am convince me!

Any information would be great.

I would throw a Tmoss ported stock lower on it...100.00 and well worth it....she'll pick up some ponies and it'll pull much better...I did it while having pretty much the same mods as you...Its money well spent....the top end you get alone is well worth it....

If you add a few more bucks to that 100.00 you can go with an entirely different U/L set-up...The intakes a bottleneck on the SN95s...you have the exhaust all set..give it some more air now... :D

I wouldn't go through the trouble of taking the stock lower off just to port it, you might as while install a different intake while you have everything tore down. If you search the classifieds you should be able to find a Cobra or Edelbrock Performer fairly cheap. A set of headers and a new shifter would round it out for me.

cheap homemade cold air kit, edelbrock performer 5.0, steeda tri-ax, 77mm or 80mm maf with 24# injectors, aeromotive/kirban adjustable fpr, 70mm TB, afr 165 heads (in the future), custom cam

if you want to get the most power out of that beast i'd suggest doing mac longtubes with a mac prochamber midpipe

Don't overlook the Explorer intake if your thinking of a Cobra - same performance for less $$ usually. I sell ported lowers I have on the shelf outright and refund $$ for your old lower core when your done installing to eliminate downtime if your considering porting the lower.

Tmoss, I would like to get some more info on your explorer intakes. (prices, availability) That sounds like something I am ready to do. Is there a web site or some contact info I can have to get more information on how and where to purchase? Thanks,

I only have one at this time and I will only sell it ported as I had to pay going price for it, so the only money I make would be on porting. It's in exceptional condition. Unless you have heads that flow ~240-250cfm, you don't need porting. To contact anyone on the boards - right click on their screen name and a drop-down menu will appear with "send a private message to...", which you can use like an email.

Tom....I'm heading to re-dyno this weekend...Swapped in the ported GT40, 93 upper, Fox TB swap, added 1.6 Scorpions and an MSD Pro-Billet....I'll let you know the gain from the last session with the ported stock...

Been running a couple hundred miles...top end feels much stronger...We'll see how it fares out... :D

A GIGANTIC circuit city add. (wtf??)

But seriously, triple decker wing, vinyls of your favorite aftermarket part supplier (I recommend Neuspeed, AEM, and NOS as personal favorites), two 15 inch subs, and a Ying Yang Twins CD.

get an aftermarket shifter, your driving experience will be 100 percent better. The stock shifter is about as strong as a clothes hanger bent to the correct shape. Also the dreaded 2-3 shift will be more like the 2-3 shove because the shifter will center itself much faster. This helps avoid the 2-5 goddammnit shift which is known to happen when bangin gears with the stocker.
