I just bought an 06 black GT witht the 18 inch premium fan blade style wheels. I'm thinking about getting some bullitt style wheels but I can't find any that'll fit on the stock tires. I checked with mustang tuning and they said none of their wheels will fit the factory tires. I really don't want to go and spend another 1000+ dollars on tires I don't need. Does anybody know where I can 18 inch bullitts that will fit the stock tires? Thanks..

Try "Tire Rack" 's Website or "Discount Tires" 's Website. I've seen the 18" Bullit on those sites, and you can view them on your car with their web-software. Good Luck!

I just got some 18" Vault Wheels!! I'm putting them on this weekend!!! My GT's gonna be "King of the Block!!!!"

I thought about it, but polished wheels are too much maintenance. You spend all of your time doing just that, polishing.. Thanks anyway.. any other suggestions..

I bought a set of these this week to replace my upgraded 17" machined on my 05.
They are the same as the OEM 18" bullits available on the 06, but CHROME.
Great Deal.

I purchased mine from "AFS Wheels" it was an ebay auction but I called them to confirm first. I too had the 18" fanblades from the dealer.

I believe they were $695 for all 4. Chrome 18x9 Bullitts with the proper offset for the '05s and '06's. I did not need any type of spacer, etc...

How the hell do i insert a picture?????

MysticBlue...you sure that's the right offset? It says 38mm on your order page, but I thought the correct offset was 45mm???? I could be wrong, anyone know?

38mm will put the wheel a litle farther out in the wheel well, by about a 1/4"

The factory 18" wheels have a 50 mm offset.

I ordered these last week and can't wait to get them. It is also an ebay auction I like the deep dish chrome bullets, so that's what I am getting. They will be arriving this Friday or maybe Monday. Hopefully Friday though! I like the staggered tire look myself, so 10's in the rear and and 9's in the front.

I had them put tires on them and they will come mounted computer balanced and ready to put on. My stang will be even better looking when these bad boys get in!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8038335287&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

...Check out how deep the rear's lips are. 3 inches!!!!:

Not advocating the company, its just easier to show my preference by showing the link to the site I bought them from so you can read about it yourselves.:SNSign:

Hey Blackonblack, do those wheels even fit on an 06, or an 05 for that matter? If so, how is it gonna look? Anybody have any info on this?
Hey Argabright, thanks for the offer, but I'm leaning towards all 18 inch bullitts.

Ok here is the deal. I ordered them over the phone, but through ebay. He used this ebay auction to demonstrate how they looked, based on my description of what I wanted.
So, gentleman, I know I told the salesman over the phone I have an 06 GT Mustang, several times. I sent an email last night after I noticed and saw the auction stated it was for 94-04 Mustangs.
I just got home from work and they are closed, so I will make time tommorow to call them and inquire if the salesman showed me a picture of what they look like. When ordering, He stated they sell many, many rims and don't have all their pictures posted up on Ebay.
So I will call OE tommorrow, find out why or if they are selling me rims for the wrong type of car. Hopefully the answer will be that they are for the 05-06. If not, I will keep you all posted on how they handle me having to return them and exchange or refund for rims that actually fit my car. Sucks too....they are great looking rims and tires!!!
F@#$%@$ The tension sucks.

Hey black06, it's the day after the day you were going to call them...how are things working out? Please be sure to keep us updated. It's getting close to spring time here and I want to buy some deep dish bullitts without having to use a spacer (ie mustangtuning).

I did call them, but 2 days later. The rep said they have sold hundreds of these sets to 05-06 mustang owners...and no complaints.
The rear tires basically come out flush with the exterior of the car fender well. I will post a pick once I get my camera going.
The stock tires and rims sit well off inside the fender compared to these. These are a LOT wider are a little more than flush with the fender well of the Mustang.
AND THEY LOOK AWESOME...BTW!!!! Lots of Chrome and very good looking set of tires for the money!!!

So, what was the final cost, if you don't mind, between the wheels, tires and shipping?? I can't wait to see what they look like. Keep us posted...

My new wheels

OK...I really need to get a lowering kit now. There is a lot more space between the tires and the wells now, even though they are 18" rims. The tires are great handling but a little bit too low profile for my taste after installing them on my stang, but once I get my lowering kit install, I think it will smooth it out. I love them and I think they look great. All total, with shipping, mounting computer balancing and chrome locks, optional pony or cobra center caps (both sets)...I spent about 1,300 bucks.
It was a wet rainy day so I hope they come out good the rain makes the car look dirty. By the way, I bet my 13.3 quarter mile time should improve a lil bit with these 10" rears~ a little bit more rubber will be on the track!!!

Let me know what you think!!! My new ZEX Nitrous kit has arrived as well!!!!

Yes...Maybe after the drop it will be better. It also is a little hard to tell until the sun comes out one day I bet. Its so dark and overcast its hard to actually tell...everything is so black!
I understand, frank99TA, How hard of a choice it really is. I am sure when you find the right ones for you, it will be a good choice.
What color is your Mustang? That can be a choice factor with your rims...I think or maybe it doesnt matter...
