I have a 93 LX 5.0 Only mod so far is BBK H-pipe and Flowmasters. I am in the process of doing a complete tune-up as my Stang has 183K miles on the original 302. I covet any suggestions for the ignition parts such as plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coils.

Thanks in advance,
Tom

Autolite 25s for plugs. Cap and rotor, you pick. Solid brass or solid copper contacts work the best. The brass lasts a little longer than the copper. Wires: I like the MSD wires. Just get a good quality wire that is precut for your Mustang and not a one size fits all. As for the coil: I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you're having trouble with it or you decide you want to upgrade your whole ignition system. I'm using the stock coil for my blown application and it works just fine.

Cool that was just the sort of direction I was looking for. What do you think of the Ford Racing 9mm wires and then just using a new stock cap/rotor?

I believe the stock cap and rotor use aluminum terminals. If that's the case then I'd pass that by and get something better. Any parts store will carry a better product (MSD, Accel, etc.). Even Ford Motor Sports carries a better one.

Not a problem. BTW... forgot to mention the FMS wires. I think they'd be a good pick.
