need some quick help please

im swaping oil pans on an engine to put into my 92 and i thought the crank had a small amount of play before a piston started moving and i thought it was just due to TDC of the cylinder but i pulled the rod end off and it has light groves worn into it.they dont look to bad but i can feel them with my finger nail. the BIG question is, if i put this together like this should it be ok or do i need a rebuild? the motor was in a 88 van but has a date code of 1980 and it has no numbers stamped in the rod ends.

im sure it will be fine for awhile as a daily driver, run it till it blows, im sure it was a cheap engine, just run it an build your self a nice stroker motor if your ganna build one

yeah thats what im thinking, i just looked some more and the loose feel i was getting from the crank was the damn cam chain slack. i will tq them back and run it. thanks man
