i plan on supercharging my stang and i want something a little beefier than my stock t-5. I considered g-force but after hearing some horror stories i decided no to them. Who sells stronger internals for t-5's also does anyone sell dif gear sets for the t-5?

thanks,

Drew

I guess you can try giving liberty a call. Why not just get the 3550? all youd need is the bellhousing to bolt it in

I have a Liberty T5 tranny. It has beefed up gears, syncros, blah blah. It has a .89 5th gear. It is suppose to be good to 450 FWHP. You just send your stock T5 away and they rebuild it for you with all the beefed up internals. I think you can get different gear ratios too.

i thought the 3550 can only handle like 350lbs/ft of torque, also you have to get a dif shifter and i <3 my pro 5.0, and i dont want to buy another one

Here's a second for Liberty!

I've got the same one in my car. You can't beat the price either! Check out the link in my sig for a link to Liberty, but I think it's Libertygears.com

www.libertysgears.com

I called them the other day asking about an upgraded gearset for my T-5. They told me they didn't have anything other than the 'standard' 330ft-lb 2.95 gearset from the T-5z. Nothing beefier like the G-Force.

5 months on G-Force right now ripping gears and pulling the wheels . I have the street gear set it is awsome. I have heard the horror stories. All I know is everyday I get in and drive my G-Force T-5'ed car to work(sometimes pounding on it) then on the weekends I abuse it at the track. I don't even sweat it.
