well after tearing into the 351 I bought I found an interesting hole in the block between the timing chain area or lifter valley. The person I bought it from swears the ran fine before the truck was wrecked... I need some guidance if I should continue with this block or what.
sorry for quality was taken with phone. note the hole next to the lifter on the front wall that sits behind the timing chain cover. it almost looks like a casting problem, but I have not dug any deeper yet.
