the stock tire recomendation for a 88gt is P225/60VR15 says bfgoodrich's site but they done make any tires that size. they do have a 225/50-15 would that fit the stock rims? and what does all those numbers mean? how bout backspaceing? what should i get ? 5.5 for front and back?
I second TireRack.com. I've checked out the site before just to browse tires for my car and have seen BFG 225/60/R15's on there, and they sell them pretty cheap. I'm most certain that BFG makes the stock recommended size which is that. I got the Comp T/A model which were fairly new when I bought my car almost 2yrs ago and they still hold up in the rain and even in the snow. I'd stick to that height tire, anything smaller would look "funny" on a 15" rim IMO. Good luck.
