hey everyone.
I have a '93 Notch with Corbeau TRS seats and I am using their adaptor brackets with my stock tracks. I'm 6' 5" and my head hits the roof when i weat a helmet at the track and I don't have enough leg room around the steering wheel.
I have heard that Corbeau makes lowering bracket and I just emailed their tech support about them. Other than that, is there any way for me to get more legroom and headroom?
Is there any way to move the stock mounting points back a little and still have a strong mount?

Thanks

One thing I did being 6' 8" is put a lug nut under each front seat mount lifting the front of the seat a little so it hit the bottom of my legs. Made it more comfortable. As for the helmet, get a sunroof or T top car or get used to tilting your head and schrunching down in the seat. '94 and up are even worse.

hmm I'd like to know how to lower the seats as well. I'm only 6'3" and I rub my head on the roof. was wondering if they made some kind of lowering bracket (would be nice)...

A friend of mine cut his seat brackets and moved them back 6 inches or so. We are both 6'5 and with the seat back all the way we couldnt reach the pedals.

LOL I guess im not the only tall one (Im 6'5'' myself) Speed Freak can you post some pictures of the cut seat brackets and what the seats look like in the car. And for anyone reading this what kind of seats did you all get and on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the lowest and 10 being the greatest) where would you rate the comfort of the seat?

its odd that you 6'5" guys need more leg room...I'm about 6'3" and I have plenty of legroom...hell, I don't even have the seat back all the way - I'm sure someone 2 inches taller could deal. of course, everyone's legs are different I guess. I just need more headroom. I posted a question about lowering the seats like a year ago and got no responses.

I'm 6'6" with a 86GT "t tops" and have no problem with room really. Though with the stock seats i had a hard time, it felt like i sat higher up. I now have 86 SVO seats and its awesome plenty of room.
