I was wondering, if I got the KB supercharger, 9psi, what else would I need? Sturdier clutch, bigger fuel pump, ect.? Please let me know. I want to do it right and not have to worry about blowing anything.

yea go to the kenne bell website. They have alot of information on that site. you can download pdf's from them and keep them on your puter. they have test results for every bolt on having to do with the supercharger, whats worth it, whats not, and how much power every combination will make. the site also explains to you what types of "extras" you may want or need to make the most out of the supercharger. Just follow the links to the 2V 4.6 version and they will give you pretty much all you need to know.

It might have been a good idea to do that BEFORE you posted the thread. but there you go anyway. I hope you find what you need on the site.
Also check with www.modularfordpowerhouse.com T&J does alot with that and may be able to help you. Neoclsscl (however you spell that) has a KB, talk to him too. he should be able to help you out.
Good luck to you.

Just making sure. There could be something on the site that I need and maybe that someone else who has/had a KB might want to suggest

Greg, if you get this you gotta take me for a spin!!!! And if you need some help with the install, I'd be happy to lend a hand - seriously. Also, you might want to check the power adders forum...
Mustang Enthusiast mag Aug 2004 issue had an article on the install with lots of good info and pics.

Sure thing. I would install it myself, rather than some shop, so I might need a hand. Saves $$$. I don't think it would be that hard anyways. Check out this site for a bad ass video. Go to videos and then "Let's rumble." It's got the Blowzilla on in. www.mycobra.us

Ahhh, yeah, that video is nice - inspiring. That whine is addicting...!
Love the clip of the 5.0 scraping his rear bumper in a wheel stand that lasted about 1/4 of the way down the track - too cool!

the KB kit was pretty much comlete bolt on, came with everything you would ned to strap a supercharger to your car. My clutch is pretty much shot at this point though, 10K miles with 400 rwhp s alot for the stocker not to mention the other 30K it already had on it. A custom tune would also be a good idea to get the most out of it and out of your other mods, although KB doesn't reccomend it unless someone who knows what they are doing does the tune, like Tim or Brent at DTP in VA (he did the tune on my car and it is pretty awsome!) Enjoy the blower, it s alot of fun! There is a vid of my car on here somewhere if someone wants to find it.

Going back to your original question Greg, with regard to the fuel pump, the kit comes with, as tooblue02 said 'everything', including a boost-a-pump. The stock clutch is pretty sturdy, but will likely take a beating after a while. I'd save this upgrade for later. But now, I'd think about opening up the exhaust system with a cat back and midpipe. If you can do LT headers too this would greatly help, as you probably already know. Also remember that LTs will use a different midpipe and installing a clutch with LTs can be a PITA. I hear that Hooker LTs allow you to drop the trannie withour any LT interference. Just some thoughts...(Heck, I can spend your money just as easily as mine...!) LOL

Lol, thanks for the info. I think I'll go with the Basani catted X and the cat back. It sounded bad ass on that Cobra. (I know it has DOHC, but it'll still sound good on a SOHC.) I'm not gonna get any headers. I think the X and catback would make it open enough.
P.S.
I got the inserts on and the Billet Grille will be on Tues. :-D
