Need to set backlash and I can't get a travel dial anywhere

Anybody know where I can get one. I've tried every autoparts store I can think of and most don't even know what I'm talking about or don't have them. I really don't want to buy one online since I would like to finish this up today. For people who do have them where did you get it? Does Sears, Home depot or something like that carry them?

Any store that supplies Machine shops will have them. If ther is a Grainger or Harbor Freight tools in your area, check them.

Although the some of the sets jricher recommends are much cheaper (anybody have experience with one of these sets? will they work?)
